The Architect had drawn a beautiful set of drawings, lifting the roof over an existing Kitchen and adding dormers and balconies. The challenge involved building in a 100 year old structure that was poorly framed to begin with.

The solution;

In this case, engaging the exact right sub-contractor was critical to the success of this project. We brought in an extremely talented framing crew that was both familiar with older structures, but sensitive to the design specifics.
